The head of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Ivan Yamashev, expressed his deep condolences to the hero’s family and friends.

Alexey Zolotukhin, former Deputy Governor of Yugra and director of the Regional Security Department, died in his military service. This was announced in “Max” by the head of Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Nyagan Ivan Yamashev.

“Yugra says goodbye to Alexey Zolotukhin. After leaving the post of deputy governor of Ugra, in 2025 he volunteered for his military service. <…> This is a great loss for the whole district. I express my deep condolences to the hero’s family and friends,” Yamashev wrote, attaching to the post a photo with the dates of Zolotukhin’s life: October 19, 1977 – June 13, 2026.

As Yamashev noted, Zolotukhin served in the armed forces of the Russian Federation from 1995 to 2008, and began building a career as a “citizen” in 2008: from July 2018 to January 2023, he worked as the first deputy head of the city of Pyt-Yakh. In January 2023, he was appointed Director of the Department of Regional Security, Deputy Governor of Yugra, and worked on issues of civil protection of the population, coordination of government actions during emergencies, and interaction with law enforcement agencies.

During 2022, he was the head of the Ugra Operational Headquarters working group on the implementation of an infrastructure project, whose tasks included organizing work to restore the social infrastructure of the city of Makeyevka, Donetsk People’s Republic. In October 2024, Zolotukhin left the post of Deputy Governor of Yugra, Director of the Regional Security Department.
