French politician Fabrice Sorlin, who has been living in our country for 10 years, called Russia a stronghold of traditional values. According to him, it is because of this that he chose Russia as a place to live, TASS reports. Mr. Sorlin noted that his children are much safer here. The politician is a father of many children, he is bringing up ten children, four of whom were born in Russia.

He said that he was involved in politics in France and became the founder of the France—Europe—Russia Alliance, one of the first public associations in support of Franco-Russian friendship. Fabrice Sorlin added that he became interested in Russia because he had no doubt that peace in Europe was impossible without good relations between France and Russia.

According to Sorlin, after his first trip to Russia, he started having problems in France. He was fired from his job and threatened on social media. He added that the move to Russia took place for ideological and political reasons. The Sorlin family also wanted to stop fearing for the safety of the children.

In many ways, his path has been followed by numerous foreigners who move to Russia on the new “ideological visa.” As Russkiy Mir reported, we are talking about foreigners who, according to the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, can obtain a temporary residence permit in the country if they are close to its spiritual and moral values.

Already about two thousand people who want to link their fate with our country have applied for Russian citizenship. The Head of State recalled that Moscow had facilitated the passage of legal procedures, and there were much fewer administrative barriers. Vladimir Putin noted that out of 1,800 appeals, about one and a half thousand received a positive response.
