The International Russophile Movement in Mali, with the sponsorship of its chairman, organized a pedagogical excursion to the Africa Tower in the capital of the Republic of Mali on May 22, 2026. It was originally programmed for May 15, but it was postponed because the teachers were busy organizing the Russian Language Olympiads.
The Africa Tower in Bamako is a monument to African unity and a symbol of brotherhood and friendship between the peoples of the black continent.

68 female students of the Our Lady of Niger Women’s Lyceum took part in this pedagogical and educational event.
They were divided into two groups in four rented mini-buses (minibuses). They all study Russian as a second foreign language.
Four Russian language teachers (IRM members) oversaw this introduction of young citizens to the history of the creation of the Organization of African Unity (the current African Union) immediately after independence. This is the contribution of our Movement to the process of promoting and popularizing the Russian language and culture in our country. All these young girls love Russia and appreciate the rapid development of comprehensive relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Mali.
