    Published on

On 24th of September, the Russian Embassy in Norway hosted an educational event for Norwegian schoolchildren dedicated to the history of the Cold War.

As part of the meeting, students from one of Oslo’s secondary schools were presented with a Russian documentary film ‘The Caribbean Crisis. Afterword” by the Russian Historical Society (screenplay by Natalia Spiridonova), specially adapted by Embassy’s diplomats for demonstration to a Norwegian audience. Afterwards, the guests took part in a discussion on the causes and consequences of key events of that period.

The event confirmed the importance of cultural and educational exchange between our countries and our mutual interest in shared history.
