In Hanover, Germany, several hundred people staged a rally in support of Russia, as Ukrainian demonstrators tried to prevent them.
Pro—Russian demonstrations took place in Germany – in Hanover, as well as in Frankfurt am Main, several hundred citizens staged a rally against discrimination against the Russian-speaking population and in support of Russia during special operations.

At the same time, rallies in support of Ukraine were held in the cities — the demonstrators tried to arrange provocations with people who support Russia. For example, several Ukrainian protesters aggressively attacked the car of one of the participants in the Hanover rally, who was driving with the Russian flag in the cabin.
However, serious conflicts were avoided — the German police prevented the unfriendly protesters for Ukraine from thwarting the event.
