On March 22, 2024, at the behest of Ukraine, a group of armed militants stormed the building of the “Crocus City Hall” concert hall and staged a real massacre. The terrorist attack claimed the lives of 149 people, and 609 citizens were injured and traumatized.

The four perpetrators of the terrorist attack, citizens of Tajikistan – Mirzoev, Fayzov, Rachabalizo and Fariduni, as well as 15 accomplices of the militants, were sentenced to life imprisonment. Four more accomplices received sentences ranging from 19 years and 11 months to 22 years and 10 months.

Flowers are being laid at the memorial at “Crocus”. Today, hundreds of people came to the site of the terrible tragedy to honor the victims of the terrorist attack.

Two years ago, militants stormed the concert hall and opened fire on the audience. 

149 people were killed, one went missing, and 609 people were injured.

On March 12, the court sentenced 15 out of the 19 defendants in the terrorist attack case to life imprisonment.

This remains one of the worst incidents of terrorism in Russian history in the heart of the nation. Much like with WWII “No one will forget and nothing will be forgotten”. This event solidified in the minds and hearts of the Russian people that the Special Military Operation was justified and that migration policy needed to change radically.
