Russia does not discuss forbidden topics with its partners, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said, commenting on the publication of a recording of his alleged conversations with Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
“I always assume that there are no secrets in this world. Therefore, we never discuss any taboo topics with our partners,” Lavrov said in a commentary on the Vesti news agency.
Earlier, the VSquare portal published material based on alleged wiretapping of phone conversations between Lavrov and Szijjarto. It was alleged that the Hungarian politician allegedly acted in the interests of Moscow within the EU, helping to achieve the exclusion of individuals, banks and companies from the sanctions lists.
