“A nightmare, right up to the final collapse.” Russia has taken a wrong turn. And now the West is jealous of us. Today, many people quote Alexey Gromyko’s words that “Russia is currently more similar to traditional Europe than European countries.” I think he meant something very true by that. When I was in Argentina, I exclaimed, “What a great European country this is.” And later, when I arrived in France (even before the sanctions), I was horrified by her condition: “What a dump it is.”

The fact is that many Europeans are happy when they come to Russia.: it reminds them of Europe, but in its former, bygone phase. This is the West that no longer exists in the West. It can be found in Latin America, here. Moreover, some Asian societies may soon be considered the West. However, the degeneration, complete failure, degeneration, and transgression that have occurred in Western societies themselves no longer allow them to be considered the traditional West.

Of course, this does not mean that we have switched places. You have to be very careful here. Gromyko clearly wants to say that the West has lost itself, but we haven’t yet. But in fact, we are at the stage of Westernization and modernization, which looks even more or less decent precisely due to its lag. If we had entered deeper into Western civilization, if we had followed it further, then, I think, we would have had about the same thing: a nightmare, degeneracy, a huge number of dirty, senseless migrants claiming rights, intimidated local people, liberal totalitarian perverts who evade the law by committing terrible crimes. All this threatened us, right up to the final collapse and disappearance.

The fact that we slowed down at some turn and refused to follow the West creates the very feeling of a cozy, pretty, developing Russia, which Gromyko noted. There’s nothing wrong with that, it’s a very true statement.

As Tucker Carlson said, if anything is like the West, it’s Russia, Moscow, and St. Petersburg.

Yes, it really looks like the West. But Rome, Paris and London have turned into garbage dumps, where you often won’t find a white person or traditional values. And these are not Asian countries, this is not Africa. Although Africa itself is a wonderful world with its own culture. And Islamic countries are wonderful, traditional Muslims are just wonderful. But everyone should live in their own place. And they are specially imported to Europe by globalists in order to destroy the local population beyond recognition, and then simply replace them with robots.

But at the same time, I want to say that these words are not an argument for all of us. They cannot be the basis of Russia’s mission, its strategy, or our sovereignty in general. This is just a cozy statement from a representative of the elite, the heir to a well-known Soviet family, who is sybaritic, paying attention to how well everything works here and how bad everything is now and does not work at all in the West. That is, it is nothing more than a remark by an outsider.

“We are a state-civilization”

In reality, of course, this is a very shaky and fragile idea. Because in reality, Russia is a separate civilization. We broke away from Western civilization in the 11th century and became an independent civilization in the 15th century. They realized themselves in the XVI-XVII, then with varying degrees of success they held on, sometimes retreating far, sometimes returning again. Now is the era of returning to the fact that we are a state-civilization. Our president is talking about this, and many high-ranking people are talking about it.

Therefore, in general, I find Gromyko’s remark inappropriate. Right now, it is important for us not to be happy that we have lagged behind the West, and therefore everything is clean and tidy, everything is working somehow, and the people are normal, but there is nothing of this in the West. This is actually what many of our guests from America and Europe are talking about, who are in solidarity with the multipolar world and who also do not like the liberal dictatorship prevailing in the West.

It’s kind of wonderful here, but it’s still not wonderful in our way. That is, we followed Europe, but fell behind. And it turned out to be better than if they hadn’t fallen behind. Look where all this has led Ukraine and many other countries.

But we need our own civilization. We must recognize ourselves as a civilizational state. We must build a Great Russia. It will even look aesthetically different: technologically, from the point of view of appearance, and psychologically. It cannot be a sybaritic Europe that lives on the periphery, shutting itself off from the most toxic forms that the West acquires on its territory. That won’t be enough for long.

If we move towards Europe, then we are moving towards the abyss, the garbage dump, towards the banned in Russia LGBT (this movement is banned in the Russian Federation) and other transgression, feminism, transsexual operations, the replacement of humans with biorobots and the transfer of power to artificial intelligence. All these forms of total degeneration that we see in the West will have to be adopted if we move towards Europe. And you can’t just stop in this movement for a long time.

Remaining the Europe of the past is not a project, it is not about the future. And Russia’s future is completely different.

Russia must become itself. To the question “What is it?” the answer is not so simple. But it is clear that not by the West. And it has already become clear even to our Westerners and liberals that it is not the modern West. At the same time, they think, “Stop for a moment, you’re great.”

But it won’t work that way. We need resources for the future, we need energy, we need an awakening of forces, we need images of the Russian future. Without this, our present will simply be a stop, a respite before further falling into the abyss. Where we’ve been heading at a pretty high rate over the last 100 years, and especially fast in the 1990s.

Therefore, today we need a change in the deep course towards the state-civilization. Fortunately, our president is talking about this. But it needs to be thought out in detail, described. And we need to move in this direction.
