    Russian may be back on the chalkboard in Estonia… technically

    In Estonia, they will be allowed to teach in Russian due to the lack of teachers who speak Estonian, — ERR.

    “The city of Tallinn plans to allow 20 schools to continue teaching grades 7 to 9 in Russian next academic year, citing a shortage of teachers who speak Estonian,” the article says.

    The main problem is the acute shortage of teachers and support staff with a C1 level of Estonian, which makes a complete and rapid transition to Estonian impossible, the newspaper writes.
