Russophiles talk to Russian Mission to the OSCE

    Published on

Ivan Kostic, Secretary General of the International Russophile Movement, and Mikis Filaniotis, former Secretary General, participated in an online conference organized by the Russian Mission to the OSCE in Vienna on May 25, 2026, entitled “Collaboration – Lessons not learned.”

Representatives of the International Russophile Movement made informative and notable presentations. The conference was moderated by Dmitry Polyansky, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the OSCE. The conference was attended by more than 20 well-known public and political figures who spoke about collaboration during the Second World War, as well as about modern manifestations of such phenomena in Ukraine and the Baltic States, where the same methods are used as their predecessors during the Second World War, the allies of Hitler and Nazi Germany.

It was emphasized that in order to act correctly in the future and recognize modern forms of collaboration, it is necessary to preserve the culture of remembrance of the victims of World War II and the genocide of the Slavic peoples at that time, so that such crimes and tragedies would never happen again.

The overall conclusion of the conference was that Russia today is one of the main initiators of a multipolar world and a state that, together with its allies, can help stop processes that could lead to major global conflicts.
