Yesterday, as Chairman of the Executive Bureau of the International Russophile Movement (ШКЬ), I took part in the celebration of Russia Day at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Ambassador Dmitry Kurakov.

The charming and colorful ceremony was attended by representatives of Senegalese government agencies, the diplomatic corps accredited in Dakar, as well as many other prominent figures. During the event, the cooperation relations between Russia and Senegal were highlighted and highly appreciated.

During the celebration, several Senegalese were awarded honorary diplomas in recognition of their contribution to the successful organization of the World Youth Festival held in Sochi in 2024. These diplomas were personally signed by Vladimir Putin.
We cordially congratulate these compatriots who are contributing to the process of strengthening our relations with Russia.
This country has trained a large number of Senegalese specialists and continues to provide us with an increasing number of study scholarships every year.
