Sergey Lavrov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, held an annual meeting with the heads of non-profit organizations, which included the international Russophile Movement.
The participants were about 150 representatives of NGOs. During the discussion the groups exchanged experiences and plans for their activities in the international arena.The topics of the development of public diplomacy, the preservation of historical memory, the popularization of the Russian language and culture, and the observation of electoral processes in Russia and abroad were touched upon.

The conference was attended by representatives of the International Russophile Movement, Chairman of the Executive Bureau Suleiman Ndiaye and Secretary General Ivan Kostić.
The Chairman of the Executive Bureau, Suleiman Ndiaye, addressed the Minister of Foreign Affairs with words about the movement, its status and its plans. Sergey Viktorovich thanked Mr. Ndiaye for the joint work over the years and expressed his appreciation for the work that the International Russophile Movement does. As a result of this major meeting the leaders of our movement, Mr. Kostić and Mr. Ndiaye, received the support from the Minister of Foreign Affairs for the further work of the International Russophile Movement going into the future.
