To commemorate the Years of Culture between Russia and China 2024-2025, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the People’s Republic of China has organized a unique photo project in cooperation with the company of the Boris Eifman St. Petersburg State Academic Ballet Theatre and students of the Beijing Academy of Dance.

In honor of the Years of Culture between Russia and China a unique photo project was launched at the Russian Embassy in the People’s Republic of China.

TASS photo correspondent Artem Ivanov captured the most amazing moments on stage of the actors of the theater, who embodied the characters from Boris Eifman’s “Anna Karenina” and “Russian Hamlet”, as well as the heroes of traditional Chinese dance performances and classical ballet performed by the academy’s students in front of historical backgrounds including the picturesque views of the diplomatic mission’s main building.

The result of the painstaking work were exclusive postcards and calendars bearing the spirit of friendship and mutual respect – a tangible embodiment of cultural cooperation between Russia and China.
