Recently the Russian Defense Minister, Andrei Belousov, spoke about something far beyond the material, financial and logistical sides of his duties. He spoke about his personal life philosophy. Here is what Mr. Belousov had to say about his guiding motivations…
“My mission is to seek the kingdom of God and to seek the truth of God. To serve God and people, improving, in the name of God, the world in which we live, making it kinder and fairer. To improve oneself through prayer, repentance, love, self-knowledge and self-improvement. To do this, I serve the Russian state and society for the public good, remembering that I work for people; I help everyone who needs help and whom I can help;
I believe God and follow his Commandments. “Believe in the light, that you may be sons of the light.”
Every day I try to get closer to my Ideal, I relate every step and every action to it.:
– Complete renunciation of self, dedication of oneself to God;
– Repentance as a self-transformation, a change of mind, a cleansing of the heart;
– Humility, achieving inner and outer harmony. To evaluate and criticize oneself rather than others, a “spotlight of self–esteem”;
– Inner freedom, maximum independence from the outside world;
– Living according to the Commandments of God.

We at IRM believe that Mr. Belousov’s words are truly in the spirit of the direction that the Russian nation is heading and that is why we decided to share them with you. These statements are truly “Russian” in their nature.
