“Coming to us now and saying that you love Russia is a moral, spiritual, ethical, and political feat. It’s not about emotions or mood anymore. It’s about humanity. About your understanding of the world, the world order. Today’s 4th congress of the International Russophile Movement is called “For Peace”.
“Russian philosopher and director of the Tsargrad Institute Alexander Dugin drew attention to this forum about peace at the opening of the congress.
He also noted that we often misunderstand the word “peace.” We contrast it with war, “but in fact it has never been like this.”:
“Always in history, the word “world” carried an addition: what kind of world? Moreover, whose world is it? If the Pax is Roman, then the Romans are responsible for ensuring that there is peace, and they set their own rules and their own values. Pax Americana is the world that Americans claim. And they assert their values in a global context. It’s a world on their terms. The world we offer is Pax Multipolaris. It’s the Latin expression for “multipolar world””.
Why is this important?
“We must, we are called upon now to work out a future that suits not only Russia. Where Russia can be sovereign, independent, and free. We are fighting, fighting for our freedom, independence, for our sovereignty, we are fighting for all peoples, for all continents, for all civilizations. Not just for myself, but for everyone.”
Many believe that the Multipolar World will bring about a much more peaceful and balanced order. For those who are not in the know, by fate of history, chance or divine providence the word for ‘peace’ and ‘world’ in Russian are exactly the same. Thus the the question of ‘whose peace’ is the same as ‘whose world’. And perhaps the answer to both those question is the Multipolar community of civilizations.
