It would seem that Elon Musk is slowly but surely putting his money and his efforts where his mouth is in terms of freedom of speech. Very often supposed advocates for freedom of speech merely want this freedom for their side, however Mr. Musk as the head of the “DOGE” is already fast at work. According to RT he has already shut down a massive center for U.S. governmental propaganda.

“The US State Department’s Global Engagement Center (GEC) has shut down after Republicans cut its funding. The agency was responsible for spreading propaganda abroad and, according to conservatives, censoring dissident thought at home.

The GEC announced on Monday that it would cease operations by the end of that day. “The State Department has consulted with Congress regarding next steps,” the statement added.

The organization employed around 120 people and had an annual budget of $61 million. Established in 2016, its stated goal was to “recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state and non-state propaganda and disinformation efforts.”

In practice, the GEC spearheaded complex propaganda campaigns of its own. In two campaigns, the agency funded video games aimed at teaching children about the supposed dangers of anti-American narratives, releasing them in the UK, Ukraine, Latvia, Iraq, and Saudi Arabia…

Should the great powers of the world like the United States, China, Iran etc. try to put out a good image of themselves to the world? Yes, absolutely they should! But waging a covert propaganda war that also includes mass censorship is not acceptable.

It is our hope that when the light of freedom is shone onto these types of organizations they will be disbanded, as Russophobia is an artificial construct. No random person working at a gas station in Alabama wants to have nuclear escalation with Russia, he merely wants to live well and safely in his own country. Russophobia is a false creation of the elites in London and Washington who have a Globalist agenda that immediately crumbles without the hatred-pumping media and censorship machine keeping it together.

If we get rid of insidious propaganda, then it becomes clear that Washington and Moscow could work out a security deal that is acceptable to both sides and life could get back to normal quickly.
