Daria Dugina Monument unveiled near Moscow

    Published on

On August 20th, 2025 a monument to Russia’s heroic philosopher girl was unveiled in Zakharov, near Moscow. It was put near the site where assassins killed Daria Dugina exactly three years ago. The ceremony with the laying flowers at the monument was attended by the head of the Donetsk People’s Republic Denis Pushilin, actress Yulia Chicherina and the founder of the Tsargrad TV channel Konstantin Malofeev.

Daria died on August 20, 2022, as a result of a car explosion on Mozhaiskoe Highway. The FSB is confident that the ones behind the terrorist attack are the Ukrainian Special Services. This was the biggest of many attempts to break the spirit of the Russian people through murder perpetrated by Kiev. This includes drone attacks on civilians, assassinations, bombing infrastructure and organizing the Crocus City Hall terror attack.

    The Dugina Generation

Until recently, to many people of the middle and older generations, Russian youth seemed to be merely the “TikTok generation”, unknowing subjects to alien forces that hate Russia. Their minds seemed more shaped by consumeristic bloggers rather than high Russian culture. But with Dasha’s name on their lips, millions of Russian youth changed their mindset and became patriots. And many of them are fighting in our Holy War right now and helping the front. Daria her entire short life rejected the Western status quo that permeated through the souls of Russia’s youth. She led by example.

Dasha did not even live to be 30 years old, thus she will remain in our minds and history as eternally young. So youthful, thoughtful, creative, brilliant, talented, beautiful, she entered heroically into eternity and Russian history. She did this by showing the whole world that it is possible to be young and yet patriotic, traditional and wise at the same time. Daria proved that one can be full of zest for life and keep with the technological trends today but not be in direct opposition to one’s own culture. She was smart, loyal and devoted to our great Motherland.

Dasha has become a symbol of a new generation, which we should no longer call “Millennials” or “Zoomers”, but instead “The Dugina Generation”. May she have “eternal and bright memory” (as they say in Russian) forever in God’s graces!
