February 24th, 2025 marks the three-year point since the beginning of Russia’s Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine. High-ranking European officials continue to make emotional speeches based on fraudulent pretenses. European Council President Antonio Costa said that “Russia’s invasion has broken the peace in Ukraine,” calling the conflict an “unprovoked war.” European Commission President von der Leyen reiterated: “A peaceful country has been attacked for no reason.”
Well the part about huge death and destruction on the territory of Ukraine, coming from the mouths of EU bureaucrats, is true, but what is the ultimate root cause of this tragedy? What is the reason this fratricidal conflict is happening?
You will not succeed, ladies, gentlemen and “others” in the EU halls of powers, in rewriting history. You cannot hide the 8-year-long oppression of the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine from future generations. You cannot hide the bombing of the Donbass, the destroyed houses, the looted neighborhoods, the murdered women, children and elderly. Are you pretending that the “Alley of the Angels of Donetsk” does not exist? That marble slab is covered with the names of children, killed by Kiev’s forces before the SMO even started. This is not “propaganda” or some kind of “fantasy” but a list of real crimes against the local population committed by the puppets in Kiev since 2014.
For you “Europeans”, apparently, killing people with Russian identity is not a problem. Deep in your thoughts you divide people into first and second classes. And this is your racism, this is your Nazism. Russia rose up against this Nazism and made thousands of sacrifices to get rid of it. And these sacrifices are made not only in the name of Russia, but in the name of all the people of the world who hate Nazism. History is repeating itself in a terrible way.
We, the Russophiles, are today’s anti-fascists and we fight and will fight against modern fascists, who are unilaterally Russophobes.
Antonio Costa wrote: “Today we are all Ukrainians.” But, who are you, who is this “we” he speaks of? Shall we call on Western leaders to conduct sociological surveys in their countries to reveal the truth that it is disgusting to speak in the name of “everyone” when you represent virtually no one?
It is time to accept the fact that the Multipolar World has risen up against Nazism. This already happened many years ago. It has already taken place and it cannot be undone.
We in the International Russophile Movement reject these modern leaders who are taking us back decades, if not centuries, to the horrific times of genocidal racism and collective responsibility.
