The level of Russophobia in the EU seems to always reach a new level of madness as shown by the Finnish Foreign Minister Valtonen in this video.

No Ms. Foreign Minister, no one should be expected to “take it for granted and as a given” that Russia is some evil force that poses and existential threat to Europe. Demanding that the viewer just fully accepts your position on blind faith for all eternity is the height of Orwellian doublespeak. “Russia bad, therefore do what I say” is moronic reasoning.

Finland needs to stop thinking about ‘curing the cancer’ of Russia’ and work on the cancer of Globalism that continues to plague the Scandinavian Peninsula. Finland doesn’t even have the resources to build a contiguous border fence along the boundary with Russia, so why make these kind of harsh threats?

Finnish officials are free to dislike Russia and be suspicious of it. But, they are not free to blatantly lie to the public and push their nation towards aggressive suicidal action in a confrontation with Russia to achieve ultimately nothing.
