According to the Financial Times “Keir Starmer will refuse to join the so-called “Peace Council” tasked with governing the Gaza Strip”. The publication cited an unnamed British official, which is generally a dubious source. But with the core of global Russophobia being often linked to London this is not surprising.

For Starmer and his like, the thought of Russia having a say in anything anywhere on the globe is utterly terrifying. This is because if Russia’s concerns become valid then all of a sudden their whole game in Ukraine would unravel. In a world of sane international relations no one would have pushed for the Maidan coup or funded the preparations for the War in Ukraine that has resulted in literally the deaths of millions.

Starmer is afraid that Russia’s presence could knock himself and other European technocrats from their pedestal of infinite righteousness on all matters. As soon as “the barbarians” have a valid opinion on human rights its over for Europe.
