On July 26, in Niyamey, Niger, the office of the IRM chapter of Niger together with the office of the IRM chapters of the Conference of Sahel States (Mali, BurkinaFaso and Niger)(IRM-AES) organized an event dedicated to the third anniversary of the establishment of the National Council for the Defense of the Motherland (July 26, 2023).

Many panels were held, the main of which was the conference of the Chairman of the Democratic People’s Republic of Niger, Mohamed Alfazazi on the topic: “Revival, diplomacy and strategic cooperation of the CGS-Russia. What is the contribution to the creation of a multipolar, peaceful and harmonious world?”

This event was chaired by the Minister of Education, Technical and Vocational Training of Niger, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Niger, Delegate Administrator and Mayor of the city of Niyamey (the nation’s capital) and a representative of the IRM.

Russophiles, students, teachers, researchers, public figures, former students of universities of the former USSR and Russia took part.

Artists from three countries (Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger) performed folk songs and dances. All of the dance and song was executed brilliantly.

Unfortunately, the Chairmen of the IRM offices in Mali and Burkina Faso and the Chairman of the IRM Information Board were unable to join their Nigerian brothers on this most important day in the history of the sovereign people of Niger.
